Introducing…From the Sugar Shack

That’s right, the Sugaring Off content you enjoy will soon be coming to you in audio form! Just what the world needs, another young bespectacled white guy with a podcast, right?

In this series (working title: From the Sugar Shack) I hope to bring on smart and interesting people from across the Vermont political landscape to talk about the public policy issues confronting our state and the solutions that people are working on. With education finance, housing availability, flood resiliency, and so many other big issues on the docket, I want to talk to policymakers to find out what the scuttlebutt is in Montpelier and in city and town halls across the state. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot, and maybe you will as well!

I also hope to share stories from around our state and discuss how politics, policy, and government impact the lives of Vermonters. And, once election season rolls around again, I hope to bring on some of my friends from the campaign world to talk about all things campaign finance and electoral politics.

If this is something you think you’d enjoy hearing, I have two humble requests. First: podcasting software doesn’t come cheap. If you have a few bucks to spare and are willing to chip in to help bring From the Sugar Shack to wherever you get your podcasts, I’d be ever so grateful and you can do so here: https://ko-fi.com/sugaringoff.

Second, I need your help finding smart and interesting people to talk to! If you know someone in your community, be they a policymaker, activist, business owner, community servant, or any other civically-minded person who has an interesting story to tell about Vermont and Vermont politics, please get in touch with me at the links below.

Thank you so much for your continued support of Sugaring Off! I look forward to seeing/hearing from you again soon.
