Sugaring Off: Vermont Politics and History, Plain and Simple

Matthew Vigneau, a lifelong Vermonter, is the author of Sugaring Off. He is a graduate of South Burlington High School and is currently in his third year at American University studying political science. He has made maps and consulted for elected officials, and community organizations like the Fairbanks Museum and Vermont Conservation Voters. When not opining about Vermont politics on the internet, he can be found working on Democratic campaigns, singing in church and collegiate choirs, and taking walks with his dog, Lily.

Lily Vigneau is the Chief Canine Officer of Sugaring Off. She is a native of Williamstown, Vermont, and is currently a resident of South Burlington. Lily enjoys Vermont’s Parade Season and sampling treats and head pats from candidates and elected officials around the state.
